Furniture Design, Method

Marisa and Callum, of Method Furniture in Scotland, have sent me details of their latest work; they intend to exhibit at 100% Design in London later this year. I have featured Method Furniture on this blog before and I think the new work is sharp, and well executed. Two pieces in particular stand out: Costello (an elegant and beautifully detailed writing desk) and Grande Royal (a slender hardwood armchair with a distinct Macintosh look). Both pieces show some fine detailing, with the blue Scottish leather drawer lining and unusual hardwood drawer handles on Costello being my favourite.
