Great Bars Designs, 228 Hotel .

Design a bar,228

It's time for a little opulence; I've been posting recently on modern cafe furniture and simple straight line styling. Bar 228 at Le Meurice hotel in Paris is rich and detailed in an authentic historic way. Phillipe Starck is the Hotel Designer behind the re-working of the bars designs; set in the landmark Parisian Hotel that has occupied its home overlooking the Tuileries for two centuries. There is a great masculine formality to the bars design -they have a have a whisky list that reaches to over 50 types-. The space is high and subtly illuminated with wall and table lights that are set to leave the fantastical decoration design of ceiling and walls unobstructed to be enjoyed.
